Exploring the canals and waterways sparked an interest in canal art, and in 2020 I experimented with painting canal art style roses and daisies. Since then my work has developed and it is now stocked in some local shops, sold at craft fairs and is available to buy through our online shop. Dizzy Duck Crafts is named after our narrowboat, Dizzy Duck.
In 2023, Canal Art was placed on the Heritage Crafts red list of endangered crafts. My aim is to bring canal art to a wider audience by painting it on a variety of both new and upcycled items.
